KILN DRIED (10-13% MC) FINGER-JOINTED WOODEN CASING MOULDINGS
CASING DEFINE THE OVERALL CHARACTER OF A ROOM AND ARE OFTEN THE MOST VISIBLE PART OF THE TRIM.
THEY ARE USED PRIMARILY TO COVER THE GAP BETWEEN DRYWALL AND THE DOOR OR WINDOW FRAME.CASINGS ARE THE GENERALLY THICKER THAN THE BASE MOULDINGS
The DOOR JAMB / DOOR FRAME are manufactured from solid timber that has been finger-jointed/edge glued, pre-coated with thin gesso, water base primer.

Primed or lacquered wood moulding
